The Poetry of Solitude
The poetry, of solitude
Manifests itself inside your mood
I don’t know how, the roses fell
They sprinkled like pennies down the wishing well
I wish them well, i couldn’t hate
Palarysis would set in and legs sedate
I wish them well, cause i forgive
Just about everything they ever did
Every tattoo tells a story
There’s no chinese or tribal sign
Every word written in English
An English beauty you will find
If you ever see me sleeping
Don’t assume I dream of you
If you ever catch me looking
Don’t assume I caught you too
If you ever see my smiling
Don’t assume you made my day
If you ever hear me laughing
It could be cause you’ve gone away
I try to find, a better word
But i’m stuck with what i’ve heard
I don’t know how, things can change
Being me sometimes seems sostrange
Every tattoo tells a story
There’s no chinese or tribal sign
Every word written in English
An English beauty you will find
If you ever see me sleeping
Don’t assume I dream of you
If you ever catch me looking
Don’t assume I caught you too
If you ever see my smiling
Don’t assume you made my day
If you ever hear me laughing
It could be cause you’ve gone away
